Moutainview Alliance Church has existed in Kitimat for more than 40 years. It was established by the Christian and Missionary Alliance of Canada whose chief reason to exist is expressed in the following prayer:

O God, with all our hearts we long to be:
a movement of churches
transformed by Christ,
transforming Canada and the world.

By your grace and for your glory:
• Renew and empower us through a fresh encounter with yourself
• Release us to be strategic in service, kingdom-connected in practice, passionate in pursuit of your mission and mercy

Locally, Mountainview Alliance is home to more than 50 families who meet together regularly for worship, sharing life, and service in the Kitimat community. Over the years, thousands of people have been touched directly or indirectly by the ministry of this church. Under new pastoral leadership in the near future Mountainview Alliance is looking forward to an ever-expanding ministry of service for Christ as outlined in the Bible and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
